BlackBerry new smartphones

At a special event held in the capital of Great Britain, the Canadian company RIM officially introduced three new BlackBerry smartphones: the Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and 9860. All three new products are running BlackBerry OS 7, equipped with 1.2 GHz processors and 768 MB of RAM, and also supports near-field NFC communications.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone, previously known as the Bold Touch, is one of the thinnest RIM smartphones - its case thickness is 10.5 mm. The device is equipped with a mechanical QWERTY keyboard, as well as a capacitive touch screen with a diagonal of 2.8 inches and a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The equipment of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 includes a camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels. The smartphone case design is standard for BlackBerry, however, is made of high quality polished stainless steel.

The equipment BlackBerry Torch 9810 includes a touch screen with a diagonal of 3.69 inches and a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The thickness of the device, given the sliding keyboard, is small - 11.5 mm. The configuration of this smartphone also includes a camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels with the ability to record clips and 8 GB of internal flash memory.

As for the smartphone Torch 9860, it was previously known under the code name Monza. From the point of view of technical equipment, this unit is almost a complete analogue of the Torch 9810, not counting the sliding keyboard and screen, whose resolution is 800x480 pixels with the same diagonal. Sale of smartphones Bold 9900 and Torch 9860 will begin in September this year, and the Torch 9810 has already gone on sale.
