The grand project of the world's first theme park Ferrari World, being built on the island of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, is preparing to open on October 28, 2010. According to the plans of the developers, the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi project will become the world's largest indoor theme park Ferrari with many attractions, including racing tracks that fully embody the spirit of Ferrari, for children of all ages.
The park will have more than 20 attractions created with the latest technology, the design of each of which is dedicated to the main milestones of the history of the famous Italian automobile brand. Among them, visitors will see the world's largest roller coaster, reaching speeds of up to 240 km / h, an interactive journey for the whole family in 4D format, as well as fascinating trips to the very heart of the famous Ferrari 599 engine.
The project developer is Aldar Properties, the largest in Abu Dhabi. The management and operation of the park will be undertaken by the international management company Farah Leisure Parks Management, which is a joint venture of Aldar and ProFun Management Group.
