The goal of this new six-month initiative is to further increase support for the Dubai business community during the period of the emirate’s recovery from the negative effects of the global financial crisis. As part of its role as a business coordinator and various entrepreneurial initiatives, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is working towards increasing information mediation and strengthening cooperation between local and regional businessmen.
During the briefing, its participants were given an overview of the activities of key departments working directly with clients, as well as information on how to use their help in the best way and in the easiest way. The management of the Chamber of Commerce informed of the various additional services it provides. Its representatives met with those who wish on an individual basis and discussed issues related to the activities of a department, the benefits received by membership in a chamber of commerce, and the procedure for obtaining membership.
From the side of the Chamber of Commerce, the briefing was attended by: Director of the Department of Economic Research and Sustainable Business Development, Dr. Bileid Rittab, Director of the Department of Membership and Documentation Services Mahdi AlMazim, Director of the Department of International Relations Hassan Al Hashemi, Director of the Legal Department Jihad Kazim, Director of the Service Center Omar Khan customers and many others.
It should be noted that the services provided by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry include: issuing certificates of origin of goods, authentication of commercial documents of various types, providing economic research and development, publishing economic bulletins, arbitration proceedings, resolving trade disputes, credit services, business consulting, organization of receptions of trade delegations, as well as training workshops and seminars.
