Police in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah arrested a young driver who intentionally hit a 62-year-old woman.
In the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, a previously convicted 25-year-old driver of Arab origin was arrested, who intentionally damaged the car of a 62-year-old Arab woman, ran over herself and fled the scene.
Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Noahimi, the commander in chief of the police of Ras Al Khaimah, said that the victim received serious injuries, with which she was taken to the intensive care unit in critical condition.
It is reported that later, at the time of detention, a man attacked officers of a special police unit with a knife, but managed to stop him.
