All fragrances from the new Lovely Collection are packaged in bottles painted in light watercolor tones. The bottle and box were designed by Sarah Jessica Parker and John Dinapoli of Coty Prestige. Sarah, please tell us about the concept of your new collection?
Initially, I intended to create a personal collection of perfumes for myself. I wanted to add some impressions to my world, something real, connected with me. Some special moments, valuable minutes.
Why did you decide to release a collection, and not just perfumes, for example?
The concept of preserving special moments of life itself led me to the fact that there should be several flavors.
Why was such a design of bottles and packaging chosen?
In my opinion, the packaging and bottles very well reflect the word lovely (beautiful, attractive), and we tried to emphasize in our design all the most beautiful. Vials, despite their apparent simplicity, have a classic look. Warm romantic shades and watercolor paintings on each of them bring a certain vintage charm to the collection.
What is the basis of the Lovely Collection advertising campaign?
The photo session for the ad was conducted by Michael Thompson in the East Village apartments in New York. The campaign focuses on the light and highlights of every woman’s daily life.
How did you choose the names for each of the fragrances?
Dawn is a fresh and clean fragrance. The source of inspiration for its creation was morning and dawn. This fragrance is about enjoying these few moments alone with yourself, before you meet a new day with all its joys and sorrows. It could not be called in any other way. Endless is a flower-fruit perfume. Their creation was inspired by those moments in my life that made me feel completely happy. I tried to reflect this happiness in perfume. Twilight is a sexy and sensual fragrance. He is the darkest of the three. It is intended for intimate moments, love dates. It is quite complex and even a bit mystical, like twilight, they have many mysteries.
Why is this collection special for you?
Because it reflects all the most valuable to me. The time given to us for special moments. They, the brightest moments of life, permeated the entire collection.
