The United Arab Emirates has denied rumors of a missile attack from Yemen

The United Arab Emirates has denied launching a ballistic missile from the Hussite rebels towards the nuclear power plant in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE's National Emergency and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has denied a rumor that Hushite militants from Yemen fired a ballistic missile at a nuclear power plant in Abu Dhabi.

On Sunday, December 3, al-Masirah TV announced that the missile was launched towards the UAE airspace and was aimed at the Barakah nuclear power plant under construction in Abu Dhabi.

NCEMA in a statement to the WAM news agency reported that the UAE defense system is able to cope with any threats. In addition, the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant has all the necessary safety systems.

The NCEMA assures citizens and residents of the UAE that the country is safe and emphasizes that management will always maintain the country's security.

An alarming message followed recent information about a missile launch towards an international airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen last week

Saudi Arabia and its allies, including the Arab Emirates, are involved in the conflict in Yemen against the Hussites, who, according to official figures, are armed and supported by Iran.
