IHG Opens New Beach Resort in Fujairah Emirate

The first IHG resort opens at Al Aqah Beach in the Emirate of Fujairah.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) opened its first Middle East resort in the Emirate of Fujairah, UAE.

A combination of Arabic motifs and modern design elements was used to create the resort on Al Aqah Beach. It consists of 190 rooms, including 44 Club InterContinental Rooms and 38 apartments.

An additional range of amenities includes a gym, spa, four conference rooms, a meeting room and a ballroom, a family pool, a kids club, a teen club and babysitting services. There is also a Nama Restaurant and Drift Beach Bar, as well as a terrace bar called Horizon.

IHG manages the resort on behalf of the owner of Al Ain Holding.
