Dubai Municipality does not recommend the use of a cosmetic cream from one of the manufacturers, as the product contains mercury.
The municipality of Dubai on Wednesday, January 17, warned residents about the dangers of Faiza cosmetic cream, which contains substances that are harmful to human health.
The product is also not registered in the manufacturers database, warns the municipality.
In a Instagram post, the Dubai Municipal Health and Safety Department explained that the cream contains hydroquinone, which is found in prescription drugs as well as mercury.
The municipality also asked for reports of cream sales and any advertisements by calling 800900.
