Ras al-Khaimah police installed nine new radars on the roads of the emirate. According to a senior official, new radars can record video violations.

“Digital video cameras can record travel for a prohibited traffic signal, traffic violations on special sections of the road, traffic along the side of the road, violation of travel times, or lanes by trucks,” said Brigadier General Mohammed Saeed Al Khumaidi, head of the central operations department.

"New gadgets" can determine the lane of the intruder, to distinguish between the speed of cars and trucks. New technology cameras were installed at the intersections of the club of officers, the post office, Al Manar, Gulf Cinema, Immigration, Us Nas Nam and Shamal. "

At present, 69 radars operate in the emirate, 32 of which are mobile and record the speed of cars.
