The largest gold ring in the world arrived in the emirate of Sharjah

A huge gold ring weighing almost 64 kg will be on display in the United Arab Emirates for a month.

The largest gold ring in the world is exposed for a month at the Sahara Center in the emirate of Sharjah, UAE.

A 21-carat ring called Najmat Taiba weighs almost 64 kg and is covered with 5.1 kg of precious stones and diamonds. It also contains 615 Swarovski crystals.

Najmat Taiba cost its owner only $ 547 thousand in 2000, when the price of gold was approximately $ 250 per ounce. Gold prices have since risen, and the metal is currently trading at around $ 1,497.5. Thus, the ring is estimated at approximately $ 3 million.

About 55 specialists worked on the ring, owned by Dubai-based Taiba, 10 hours a day for 45 days.
