On March 12, a telephone conversation took place between President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Crown Prince Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated the interlocutor on his birthday.
Topical issues of Russian-Emirate cooperation were discussed taking into account the agreements reached during the talks between Vladimir Putin and Muhammad Al Nahyan in April 2017 in Moscow.
High dynamics of the development of ties in the trade, economic and investment spheres was noted. Mutual interest was confirmed in further building up the entire complex of bilateral cooperation and close coordination in the interests of ensuring stability and security in the Persian Gulf region and the Middle East as a whole.
