The legendary footballer Diego Maradona decided to stay on as head coach of the Al-Fujairah UAE club and re-signed the contract for another year. The club announced this in its official “twitter”.

The report said, in particular, that "Diego Maradona is returning to lead the Wolves (Wolves) team in the playoffs and will renew the contract for another year."

However, a little later, Maradona’s lawyer, Mathias Morla, tweeted that "Diego Maradona has not yet renewed his contract with Fujairah."

Recall that previously Maradona coached the Argentinean “Racing” from Avellaneda, “Al-Wasl” (Dubai, UAE) and the Argentine national team, with which he reached the quarter finals of the 2014 World Cup.

Al-Fujairah will play in the playoffs for reaching the top division with the Hatta club on May 9 and 13. Maradona has been leading the team since May 2017.
