Dubai has counted the largest number of international brands than anywhere else in the world.

According to a new CBRE report, Dubai overtook London and became "the most important international trade center in the world."

Dubai overtook Hong Kong in the number of new brands (86 new brands). Dubai came in second place, followed by Taipei (52), London (49) and Tokyo (46) in the top five.

“Dubai remains the region’s most attractive market for retail brands, many of which use the emirate as a launch pad for regional expansion,” said Nick Macklin, Managing Director of CBRE in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
