Dubai restaurants will become more affordable

Restaurants in Dubai are adapting a smart pricing program.

Dubai, UAE. Dubai restaurants will become much more affordable for gourmets, said Jose Silva, head of the Jumeirah Group chain. He noted that this would be a response to a change in consumer preferences when affluent customers stop overpaying for a product in which they do not see sufficient value.

Now prices will be set by the consumer, said the head of the hotel chain. “I’m sure restaurants will become more and more affordable,” said Silva. Large restaurants will succeed if they adapt a competent pricing policy. Buyers will decide whether the price is comfortable for them or not.

“If buyers, even solvent, are dissatisfied with prices, they will become regular visitors to other establishments where they are satisfied with the price-quality ratio,” the head of Jumeirah Group also said. He said that the chain will open restaurants with smart pricing in its hotels. Despite the fact that the chain is known for its "star" restaurants, more affordable establishments will soon appear.

Earlier, the Jumeirah Group announced the closure of The Agency and Left Bank restaurants in the Souk Madinat Jumeirah complex, and also announced the opening of two new restaurants in the Al Naseem resort - Italian and Asian cuisine.
