An agreement was signed to open the fourth Taj hotel in Dubai.
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced the signing of a contract to open a new Taj hotel in Deira Creek. This is the fourth Taj hotel in Dubai. IHCL has an operating facility in Business Bay. Two more are getting ready to launch - Taj Jumeirah Lake Towers and Taj Exotica Resort and Spa on Palm Jumeirah. The first will open later this year, and the second - next.
“The Middle East is a very significant market for IHCL. It is a great honor for us to work with Ithra Dubai to open a new hotel in Deira, the historical and cultural center of Dubai,” said IHCL Executive Director and CEO Punit Chhatwal.
The new Taj Hotel, which will be located near Dubai International Airport, is due to open in early 2022.
The hotel will be part of the Deira Waterfront project. It will consist of approximately 200 rooms and suites located above the water. The hotel will have a 24-hour restaurant and specialty facilities, banquet facilities and a spa.
