A new nature reserve will appear in the UAE

The ruler of the emirate of Sharjah issued a decree on the creation of a new nature reserve in the United Arab Emirates.

The ruler of the emirate of Sharjah, UAE, Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad al-Qasimi issued a decree on the establishment of a new reserve in the emirate. It's about the Ed Dhelaimah Nature Reserve project.

Ed Dhelaimah, as a protected reserve, first became known in March 2007. The name of this place is translated from Arabic as "dark area". This is due to the high density of trees on its territory, because of which little sunlight penetrates it.

Ed Dhelaimah is one of the most important protected areas in Sharjah, home to many wildlife. Any illegal actions in relation to them will be punished in accordance with the law.
