The UAE has introduced a six-month temporary visa with the possibility of multiple entry for persons who are not citizens of the UAE.
Investors, experts and talented students who are eligible for a long-term visa - from five to ten years - in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. (56) of 2018 can apply for new visas.
Using temporary visas, they can make an informed decision about their future life in the UAE with their families.
Now foreigners have access to investing six-month visas with multiple entries, six-month visas with multiple entries for entrepreneurs and prominent students and foreigners of various specialties. Applications can be submitted on the portal of the Federal Office for Identity and Citizenship of the UAE.
Authorities said that during the first week after the announcement of the long-term visa, about 6 thousand applications were received from investors and entrepreneurs.
A management spokesman said temporary visa holders will also receive an Emirates ID for added convenience. This will allow them to open bank accounts, register property and conduct other operations in the UAE.
