The number of road accident victims involving a bus in Dubai has risen to 17.

Dubai, UAE. The number of victims of a tourist bus accident on June 6 in Dubai has risen to 17. Previously reported 15 deaths of both European and Asian descent. Another 9 victims are in the hospital. According to the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, there are no Russians among the dead and injured.

Recall, a day earlier, a tourist bus with Oman license plates was following from Muscat to Dubai along the Mohammed bin Zayed Highway and crashed into a traffic sign - a limiter for the height of transport in the Al Rashidiya area at about 17.40 local time. There were 31 passengers on the bus.

It has already turned out that the accident occurred due to the fault of the driver, who drove into a lane not intended for the bus to move, and because of the sunblind mounted on the windshield, he did not see warning signs or the sign itself - height limiter, which happened collision. It is also reported that the driver exceeded the permissible speed. The driver himself received moderate injuries.
