The Russians went from Yekaterinburg to Dubai on scooters

Two Russians make an unusual trip to the world's highest tower in Dubai on scooters.

On June 25, TASS shared the story of two Russians - Vlad Belozerov and Rodion Geraskin. They went to the UAE from Yekaterinburg in the most unusual way possible - on scooters. The travelers have plans to drive to Burj Khalifa in Dubai and visit several countries along the way.

Social networks helped Vlad and Rodion find sponsors for their trip. The Estonian company Avalanche labs allocated about 180 thousand rubles for travel expenses and the same amount for housing and food. Another Nuthill company provided scooters with a power steering and front wheel for better cross-country ability.

Vlad and Rodion planned to attract representatives of the Guinness Book of Records to fix the record. The application has already been approved, but the funds for inviting the representative of the Book of Records are not enough for travelers.

The Russians took with them tents, sleeping bags, a small set of clothes, medicines, and a ukulele.

Travelers have chosen a difficult route to visit as many points on the map as possible. It runs through Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Kazan, Yoshkar-Ola, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Sevastopol, Sochi, Tbilisi, Istanbul, Antalya, Yerevan, Baku, Tehran.
