Dubai Municipality prohibits establishments from adding rose petals to restaurant dishes.
According to a recent decree of the municipality of Dubai, the emirate’s restaurants will no longer be able to serve flowers and, in particular, rose petals with food and drinks.
The document states that flowers and their petals are forbidden to use as decoration or ingredient. The ban was adopted by decision of the National Food Safety Committee.
