The famous musical PIAF! Le Spectacle, dedicated to the legendary Edith Piaf, will be shown in Dubai on February 14 and 15. The Dutch musical was staged by Pam James's libretto by the theater company V&V Entertainment. The world premiere took place on October 11, 1999 at the "Royal Theater" of The Hague, the Netherlands. The plot of the musical is based on the biography of the French singer and actress Edith Piaf.
The atmosphere of Parisian streets and cabarets was recreated in the show, where the career of the French Sparrow began. In the second part of the musical, viewers can imagine the Olimpia concert hall, where enthusiastic listeners gave Piaf a five-minute standing ovation. The scenery of the show is archived photographs, video recordings of performances and Piaf interviews.
