Novel with Waldorf Astoria

ACQUAINTANCE WITH WALDORF ASTORIA IN RAS AL KHEIM IS LIKE A UNSUPPORABLE COUNTRY, ABLE TO WRITTEN A WRITTEN WRITTEN WHERE SURPRISES ARE EXPECTED ON EVERY PAGE. Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah Hotel opened its doors in 2013. This majestic hotel (and you can’t name it in another way) was originally built by order of the ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Sakra al-Qashimi as an exemplary apartment for the failed application of the emirate to hold the America's Cup regatta. Because of this, all the rooms in the hotel are simply huge; the smallest of them is 56 square meters.

All this allowed the hotel to win many prestigious awards very quickly, including the 2016 Travelers' Choice from TripAdvisor. Located just one hour from Dubai, today it is the perfect place to spend a weekend here. Having crossed the threshold of the lobby, you instantly find yourself in the famous New York's Waldorf Astoria. But here, unlike the American version, on the street there is a 350-meter private beach and the endless Arabian Sea. Due to the many restaurants, shops and recreation areas, the giant hotel seems more comfortable.

All the traditional elements that the Waldorf Astoria network is famous for are present here, however, the real treasures lurk in Arabic details: ornate letters on the walls of the lobby, relaxation rooms in the style of the Majlis, the eastern color of the Peacock Alley promenade.

All 27 Waldorf Astoria hotels have one thing in common - a huge clock in the main lobby. The clock at the Ras Al Khaimah Hotel reminds that the region is famous for its pearl mining, and the five rings at their base symbolize the five daily prayers. A powerful computer is built into the base of the watch, which shows inside the rings the exact time of prayers for many decades to come.

Most of the rooms overlook the sea - each has a huge balcony with soft sun loungers. Well, if you get a number on the opposite side - you should not be upset. On the back of the hotel is an 18-hole golf course adorned with artificial lakes.

The rooms are decorated with beige, blue and terracotta colors, symbolizing pearls, sea and sands. A separate dressing room with a dressing table and a spacious marble bathroom make an indelible impression on those who are not used to such luxury. Bath accessories from Salvatore Ferragamo add a touch of chic.

But do not stay too long in the room. There are thousands of ways to spend time in Ras Al Khaimah. This is probably the only place in the entire Persian Gulf where you can find adventure, the beauty of nature and peace at the same time.

You can rent a yacht, swim with an aqua lang, go on a desert safari and climb the highest mountain in all the Emirates of Jebel Al Jazz. The Hajjar Mountains, where Jebel Al Jazz is located, have an inexhaustible potential for active entertainment, and you can arrange yourself a mountain hike or book a helicopter flight. In addition, Iceland Water Park is located six kilometers from the hotel.

The hotel offers a generous culinary variety in 10 restaurants. You can sip your afternoon tea at Camelia (and smoke hookah here on the outdoor terrace in the evening) or dine right by the pool in Azure, or enjoy traditional Arabic dishes at Marjan Restaurant or excellent American steaks at Lexington Grill. Fans of Asian cuisine recommend UMI, a trendy Japanese restaurant offering the largest assortment of sake in the region. The 17Squared bar is located on the 17th floor, and in the cigar area on the second floor of the lobby you will find a collection of cigars from around the world.

SPA-salon is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Minimalist design and soft colors harmoniously fit into the interior of the entire hotel. Try aromatherapy massage - it will relieve tension, and aromas will help to balance the emotional background. By the way, this is one of the few SPA complexes where you get a real professional massage, and not just soft strokes, which is more typical for the Emirates. In the salon there are 12 treatment rooms, a thermal zone, an aromatherapy steam bath, a sauna and a herbal bath. The salon uses Irish brand Voya products based on natural seaweed, as well as QMS Medicosmetics products. Be sure to try the signature Precious Pearl procedure - a 90-minute facial treatment using the "power of the pearl."

Do not forget that Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah is also a family-run hotel, and there is an excellent kids club and a separate children's pool. On the other hand, any businessman will be satisfied with the local conference rooms with sea views.
