In three years, 60 reconstruction projects will be carried out in Dubai on the territory of the "old city" - in the areas of Shindag, Al Fahidi, Bar Dubai and Deira.
The aim of the project is to recreate the old areas of Dubai and turn them into a living reminder of the rich history and old crafts that Dubai has lived for centuries. Thus, tourists will be able to learn more about Dubai, and UAE citizens - to strengthen spiritual ties with the past of their country, traditional values and national identity. Many quarters will turn into real museums, where you can not only get acquainted with exhibits from the past, but also see artisans at work.
Where this does not interfere with the project to include part of the embankment of the bay and adjacent quarters in the UNESCO World Heritage List, projects will be carried out to create a comfortable microclimate with air-conditioned passages and fan-blown streets.
