Amateur Slovenian director Beno Sarajik made an eight-minute film, which demonstrates the stages of development and formation of Dubai.Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president, prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, evaluated the work. “Our achievements speak for themselves,” Sheikh Mohammed wrote on Twitter. The designer created his first video over two years. To do this, he signed up for accelerated video courses, and also re-read all the sources of information that he found on Google. In the film, the director conducts a tour of the emirate for the viewer, traveling from mangroves to the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. Talking about his project, Sarajik said that for some filming it is necessary to obtain permission from the government. According to him, in order to remove mangroves, he needed to wait for the right document for about ten days.
