Dubai cruise terminal will receive 420 thousand tourists this year

This year, the Dubai Cruise Terminal is going to receive 420 thousand tourists from the sea, compared to 396 thousand in 2011. This was announced by Hamad Mohammed bin Majren, Executive Director of Business Tourism, Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing (DTKM). "Two new companies began their operations this year - FTI Cruises and TUI Cruises. In this regard, we expect a significant increase in tourist flow," said Majren. Currently, cruise companies such as Costa Cruises, Aida and Royal Caribbean operate in Rashid Port. Last year, the terminal served 108 passenger ships, and by 2015 the total number of passengers arriving by sea should reach half a million people.
