Taya was born in Baku, but spent her childhood in Siberia. When she was two years old, her parents moved to the city of Angarsk, located near Lake Baikal. Carried away by various sports, she only came to the gymnastics section of the youth sports school at the age of 9 (by modern standards, it was very late), but despite this, by the time she graduated, Taya had already received the title of master of sports. The bars became the beloved shell of the young athlete, because exercises on them are akin to flying, and each person's cherished dream is to learn to fly. At that time, the Angarsk school of gymnastics was considered the best in Siberia and the Far East, and as part of the city team, the young gymnast took part in the All-Russian Olympics for schoolchildren, All-Russian youth competitions, Summer Spartakiads of the peoples of the USSR.
When it came time to choose a profession, Taisya had already decided that she wanted to do coaching in the future, so she had no doubts where to go — of course, the Institute of Physical Culture at the Moscow State Central Order of Lenin. She now remembers the time of studying at the university as the happiest, Tayu is included in the team of the Institute of Gymnastics, and again - fees, competitions, tournaments. She even participated in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, which were held in Moscow in 1980.
But not only sports successes were waiting for Taisya in the walls of the institute, there she met her future husband - a graduate student of the department of sports games, and for 28 years they have been together. They have two beautiful daughters - Yasmin and Sasha.
United Arab Emirates - the path to new victories
In 1990, the family moved to the UAE, and Taisya Baidun began her work at the Al Nahda National School for girls, first a teacher of physical education, and then headed the school department of physical education. 21 years flew by as one instant, but Taisier managed to achieve a lot. For the first time in the history of this school, the volleyball team that she trained has repeatedly won prizes at international student competitions in Kuwait, Egypt, Oman and other countries.
Unable to fully devote himself to his beloved work, working at Al Nahda National School, Taisya simultaneously begins to do gymnastics with girls at the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club. She calls her first international group, which includes girls from the Arab countries, Canada, the USA, Latin America, Europe and the CIS countries, “Little Stars” (“little stars”).
And then Taisya comes up with the idea to put on dance numbers with elements of acrobatics and rhythmic gymnastics, where classical “gymnastic” objects are used - ribbons, balls, hoops, and very unusual ones, for example, “zorb ball” (this is such a huge transparent ball inside which is a man and sets him in motion - approx. author). In general, there is no limit to imagination!
At first, I had to do everything myself - to come up with choreography, select music, develop the design of stage costumes, and even customize and complement these costumes for each artist (do not forget that we live in an Islamic country where certain requirements are imposed on girls' clothes). According to Taisya herself, sometimes the right ideas came to her even in a dream, so you have to get up and write down everything right there. As a result, about 30 numbers were dialed, each of which can be called a small performance. Some names are worth it! "In the eyes of my daughter," "Dove of Peace," "Raindrops," "On the Farm!" In a word, a full-fledged concert turned out.
And for seven consecutive years, Taisya Baidun has been inviting everyone to the reporting concerts of the Little Stars band! During this time, more than 100 unique numbers have been created, and all the performances of the group are very successful. Funds raised from performances are transferred to charity. Often, Taisya's pupils are invited to participate in various events, the money from which also goes to the needs of children with disabilities. Over the past three years, all work has been carried out under the patronage of Sheikh Salam Bint Tahnun Al Nahyan.
Unfortunately, the Abu Dhabi Women's Club was closed several years ago, but despite this, the Little Stars group exists and continues to train and perform. The training was first held at the Women's Academy of Sports, and now at the gym of the Vision School, because Taisya simply cannot imagine her life without gymnastics and children.
Gymnastics and UAE 
And now it’s just the time to return to the logical chain “gymnastics - Taisya Bajdun - Abu Dhabi”, because in 2010 a real gymnastics team was created from the most talented girls of the Tai group, which has been defending Abu’s honor for two years -Dhabi at competitions of different levels. Especially successful for the team were performances at international competitions in gymnastics among the Gulf countries (5th Gulf Inter-Club Competition), held in Dubai in June 2011, where Taisya pupils in different age categories earned both “bronze” and “silver” , and "gold"! Her girls performed in all kinds of all-around events (floor exercises, logs, jumps), and only the bars loved by their coach so far remained undeveloped. However, still to come!
Talking about her plans for the future, Taya wants to bring up such a team that will be able to adequately perform at competitions not only in the Middle East, but also in the international arena. I hope that these dreams will come true, and once again we will be proud of the success of the Russian coaching sports school.
