Nearly a thousand guests, including Hollywood stars, sports celebrities and socialites, honored the world premiere of the eight-minute film Pilots, shot by the Swiss watch company IWC Schaffhause in honor of the release of the eponymous collection of watches. The leading role is played by the famous Hollywood actor John Malkovich.
The presentation of Pilot watches, organized in the best traditions of Hollywood, took place in the huge airplane hangar of Geneva International Airport. There, time seemed to turn back. The guests were in the atmosphere of 30-40 years of the twentieth century, at the dawn of the era of civil aviation. Among those present were Hollywood actors Orlando Bloom and Kate Blanchett, world tennis legend Boris Becker, athlete Edwin Moses, star of the French Formula I Jean Alesi, Japanese actress Kumiko Goto, Spanish dancer Joaquin Cortes, art dealer Tim Jefferyes and managing director of IWC Kern.
