In Dubai, opened a "summer camp" for plants

Dubai plant owners are offered to take them to a special "camp" for the holidays.

Dubai residents planning to travel the remaining months of summer are invited to rent out their indoor plants at the Dubai Garden Center as part of an initiative called Summer Plant Camp.

The service is provided free of charge, but a number of requirements are presented to plants. These should be local plant species with a height of less than 1.5 meters. Each resident can leave no more than three plants.

Saresa Antonnissen, creative director of the Dubai Garden Center, said that the center will look after all the “wards”: “tell them stories, engage in music and even group therapy.”

“When you are ready to pick them up after your holidays, you will receive a detailed report on how your plants behaved in the summer camp,” she said, “we share the love and affection of our customers for plants. Nothing beats the feeling when after a long summer vacation, you meet your green mates at home. "
