To the Louvre with children? The full schedule of children's workshops at the Abu Dhabi Museum.

The opening of the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi brought a lot of entertainment and events to the cultural life of the emirates, focused not only on adults, but also on children and adolescents.

The moon in the sky of the local cultural scene, located in the capital of the Emirates on the island of Happiness (the name Saadiyat is translated that way), the Louvre Museum of Culture and Art, can certainly cause a lot of enthusiasm and controversy, but one thing is clear in our opinion: this is the best museum in the region, where you can (and should!) go with a child of almost any age.

The ideal time to visit the museum, in our opinion, is before sunset, on a weekday. This way you will avoid the crowd that fills every weekend with a monument standing on the water, erected under the guidance of the famous French architect Jean Nouvel. Sunset will give you the glare of a star drowning in the waves of the Arabian Gulf, reflected in the walls of the museum and paintings. A mixture of space architecture, enticing history and canonical art, multiplied by the beauty of the sun, makes a completely indelible impression on the enthusiastic children's mind.

The museum itself is designed so that it is most accessible to present a discovery that is obvious to an adult and so unexpected for a child: all people are brothers, and all cultures and all eras are essentially the same and are only turns of one giant spiral of our civilization. Reflections on the fact that at all times the main human search was the search for happiness through kindness, care, love and sacrifice will certainly be stimulated by the statues of the Bodhisattva of Compassion and the Virgin Mary, placed next to each other, the texts of the Bible, the Koran and the Torah, jewelry from different eras and cultures, weapons, and armor of fallen warriors for their homeland.

And for preschool kids in the Louvre they even created a separate Children's Museum. This playground makes even an adult feel like Alice in Wonderland, who accidentally wandered into the garden of giant flowers. Between virtual poppies and roses swaying under the breath of an invisible wind, museum values and interactive displays are exhibited, from the information on which you can find out about the origin of the exhibits. The "Museum" refers to the basic elements of art - colors, shapes, images. Older children can sign up for special classes in art and architecture, as well as the cultural heritage of the UAE. Otherwise, the Children's Museum is not a museum at all - it is an intricate children's corner where you can run, wallow, draw, and just have fun.
