Many residents of the Emirates complained that there are almost no museums in the country. But the country is only 45 years old. Nevertheless, the rulers of the UAE decided to open a museum dedicated to their history. And they did it with their usual Arab scale - the futuristic building emphasizes the phenomenal rise and history of this small, but incredibly successful country.

Now visitors to the museum will be able to learn the history of the founding of the United Arab Emirates. By the way, it was built next to Dar Al Etihad (House of the Union), where in 1971 an agreement was signed on the founding of the UAE. The museum's project also includes the reconstruction of the Union House in its original form and the replacement of the existing famous flagpole with a higher, 123-meter.

The building of the museum itself, according to the architects, should resemble a manuscript of the contract, and its seven columns symbolize the seven pens with which the declaration was signed. The museum will operate eight permanent exhibition halls.
